Walking requires a first step, a decision to begin. Once I do choose to get outside and walk in nature, I am never disappointed.
As raindrops tap gently on my window, I find myself immersed in a symphony of nature's rhythms. Today is a canvas, waiting for the strokes of my perception to color its essence. Is it a day of thwarted plans and gloom, or is it an opportunity to dance with the raindrops and find solace in the stillness they bring?
I am going to ask you to do something every day for four years. You can decide how much time you want to dedicate to that one thing. The only requirements are that you do it every single day and that it touches your soul. No cheating, no skipping one day and doubling up the next.
Let’s choose to spend our moments watching and doing things that our best selves want to see in the world. Together, our small actions make a giant wave. Here’s to that wave being powerful and beautiful!
Our world needs us to focus on a future where we celebrate beauty, and that which is good. We must care for every single living thing as if our life depended on it, because it does.
