I wanted to send you flowers! After a long, cold, wet winter what a delight it is to savor the gorgeous blooms of this new season. Flowers are flourishing this spring at Jasmine Hill Gardens and Outdoor Museum, a place where I have grown up and a destination you should put on your list of must see. It is amazing that though I have walked the paths countless times, there can always be something new to catch my eye. Light is constantly changing and new colors always await.
These photos are going to be gorgeous on thick fine art paper printed with rich pigmented inks. And if you have a large installation in mind, imagine a striking collage of images printed on metal. Do let me know if you or someone you know might have just the right place to have these flowers share their color during every season of the year.
While enjoying the flowers, one finds these words on a marble plaque at Jasmine Hill.
A kiss of the sun for pardon
the song of the birds for mirth.
One is nearer to God in the garden
than anywhere else on earth.
Clients have me traveling the state of Alabama this spring and I am looking forward to visiting Opp, Fort Payne, York, Eufaula and many points in between. If this season has you traveling, make sure to pause and appreciate the flowers!
